About Me

Hi there,
You found your way here, and that already means something.
So here we are.

I’m an accountant by training and a data storyteller by evolution. Somewhere along the line, I traded in the traditional spreadsheets for dashboards that speak louder than words. I specialize in financial analytics and business intelligence, building reporting solutions that don’t just sit pretty, but actually get used—because they’re built for real humans who need real answers, fast.

I think numbers are cool, but numbers that mean something? That’s even better. Whether it’s financial modeling, cost optimization, or FinOps strategy, I help organizations turn complex financial data into decisions they can actually act on. My goal? Make data accessible, make it visual, and make it make sense.

When I’m not balancing books or nudging businesses toward smarter choices, I’m probably lost in a rabbit hole about time travel, stargazing into the abyss of space, or trying to convince someone (again) that cats are the superior lifeform.

Even if you’re not sure what you need me for yet, at least have a conversation with me. One message to Adekunle should kick things off nicely.

Thanks for stopping by.

How long have you been practicing data analytics?

Officially since 2021 — but if you count all the Excel sheets I tortured before then, it might be longer. Let’s just say it’s been a fun (and occasionally frustrating) journey of turning chaos into clean insights.

Do you have any experience working with databases?

Yep! I’ve worked with SQL, Excel data models, and a fair share of cloud datasets. I’m also on a friendly basis with Power Query — though we have our moments.

Why are you interested in user experience (UX) design?

Because numbers are cool, but if no one understands your dashboard, what’s the point? I believe even the most complex financial report deserves to look clean, intuitive, and maybe even a little bit beautiful.

What kind of work do you see yourself doing in the future?

Honestly? The kind of work where I get to blend financial analytics, data storytelling, and smart operational strategy — basically solving real problems and making dashboards that make people go “Wow, that’s neat.”

Which areas of financial analytics do you enjoy most?

I’m a sucker for financial modeling and cost optimization. There's something oddly satisfying about making numbers behave and uncovering insights that actually save people money.

How do you stay updated with industry trends?

A mix of Reddit scrolling on communities like data analytics, financialmodel, dataisbeautiful, askreddit and late-night scrolling on hackersfamily(ycombinators), and the occasional webinar that somehow turns into a YouTube deep dive on data visualizations I didn’t know I needed.

Do you have any creative hobbies?

Yep — I’m into origami. There’s something calming about turning a plain sheet of paper into a tiny crane, spaceship, or whatever my mood inspires. It’s like data modeling, but with paper.

When you're not working with data, what hobbies keep you busy?

I’m a bit of a cosmic nerd — I love reading fun facts about stars, how light-year objects travel, and mind-bending theories about time travel. It’s my way of escaping spreadsheets and exploring the universe, one mind-blowing fact at a time.
